Worker's Marseillaise

The Worker's Marseillaise ((ロシア語:Рабочая Марсельеза), ''Rabochaya Marselyeza'') was a Russian revolutionary song set to the tune of the Marseillaise. The lyrics were authored by Pyotr Lavrov, first published on July 1, 1875. The lyrics are not a direct translation of the French ones and are very radical-socialist in spirit.
This anthem was popular during the Russian Revolution of 1905 and was used as a national anthem by Russia's Provisional Government until its overthrow in the October Revolution. It remained in use by the Soviets for a short time alongside The Internationale.〔(), p.10-12〕
